First Quarter of 2010

- PEECO completes Design, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of 10.4MWe gas turbine power plant and incorporates PEECO’s Freedom iGear Master Control & Paralleling Switchgear Integration for 22MWe Power Plant in Prudhoe Bay, AK.  

- PEECO completes and ships Five (5) 2,000 KW Caterpillar 12,470 volt generator plant for remote power site.

- PEECO completes testing of 250KW 480 volt Single Phase natural gas generator for local foundry.

- PEECO secures major contract for Power Control Monitoring System for 10MWe Government Power Plant.

- PEECO supplies 185KW Pre-owned natural gas generator for Calgary, Canada electrical contractor.

- PEECO completes and ships extensive 125’ line-up of 12,470 volt Freedom iGear Paralleling Switchgear.

- PEECO completes factory acceptance testing for Three (3) Custom 15KV 1200 amp E/O, D/O Isolation Switches.

- PEECO ships Freedom iGear Paralleling Switchgear for Major Pennsylvania Based Pharmaceutical Company.

- PEECO joins national independent consulting company to investigate Upgrades/ Integration of 78MWe power system.

- PEECO completes Third Phase of installation & testing of 250KW asynchronous Wind Turbine and diesel generators for USAF remote radar site.

- PEECO secures Freedom iGear Paralleling Switchgear contract for Major Delaware Based Pharmaceutical Company.

- PEECO secures Engineering/Design contract for major 15KV distribution replacement for prestigious Philadelphia College.  

- PEECO expands Inventory of New 5KV & 15KV VAC Switchgear and Pre-Owned Generators from 30-1.5MWe, Automatic Transfer Switches and Transformers for Immediate Delivery.

Second Half of 2009

- PEECO releases new updated web site to help visitors find out what’s going on at PEECO and the latest information about PEECO history, experience and product lines. The web site is all new and covers PEECO’s Freedom iGear, Custom Generators, Trolley Rail Breakers and Pre-Owned Generator Sets and other related electrical equipment. - PEECO finish’s first half of 2009 with record sales and delivery of PEECO Freedom iGear for Homeland Security, Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK), Merck & Co., DuPont Children’s Hospital, Morgan Bank, Centocor, Wyeth, Tenaska Energy and Cornell University.  

- PEECO performs full load test of first Caterpillar D3516C Tier II 2.0MWe/15KV diesel generator set with remote charge-air-cooler (CAC) and remote radiator at its Aston, PA facility.

- PEECO begins the installation of the second 5.2 MWe Solar T60 Gas Turbine Generator Plant in Prudhoe Bay, AK. PEECO continues on going engineering & operating contract for the 20MWe power station consisting of reciprocating and gas turbine power generators. PEECO replaces 50,000 ft of 15KV buried cable, 27,000 ft of fiber optic cable and 28 tap boxes.

- PEECO completes FAT testing of 15KV Freedom iGear control and distribution gear.

- PEECO supplies & commissions 2 X 2,250KWe 5KV Black Start Generating Plants for 675MWe power station controlled by PEECO Freedom iGear located at the Lincoln Generating Station Manhattan, IL.

- PEECO ships 2 X 2,750KWe 4160 volt 900 RPM complete diesel generating plants for utility operations in Panama.

- PEECO ships two more 15KV 1200 amp 25Hz Trolley Breakers to South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA)

- PEECO increases its Pre-Owned Generator Set inventory by 8,000 KWe of diesel and natural gas fueled generator sets in preparation of 2009 Hurricane Season. 

- PEECO President Robert G. Guarini, P.E. is honored in a proclamation ceremony by Aston Township Supervisors for his generous support of the Aston Township Police Department K-9 unit. 

- PEECO Electrical Engineer William McHale “Tied-The-Knot” with Ms. Theresa Regiec on May 30th . The couple Honeymooned on a 10 day cruse throughout the Mediterranean. Everyone at PEECO wishes the newlywed’s many years of happiness.
